Jesus told us to GO and make disciples (Matthew 28:20). Maybe you’re like me. I thought first this was just for the 12 apostles and now our pastor. But if I’m encouraged to “grow in Christ” (2 Peter 3:18), and I want to be more like Jesus, and the Gospel is for all people, and there are many in my community who don’t even know God’s Good News, then …
Maybe I could learn from someone else in the church to grow beyond my fears and be comfortable about kindly talking about what really is good news.
This 12-week course begins Monday, September 10th. Each Monday night we will train you to:
• gain permission to share the gospel
• develop an inviting personal testimony
• diagnose a person’s need to hear the Gospel
• learn a simple five-point Gospel presentation
• lead someone in prayer to receive Christ as their savior
• conduct an immediate follow-up for assurance
• start as a smiler and advance slowly to participation
We ask that you invest $45 for the course book and materials and 12 weeks of your time for this training.
